Authentic Encounters

First night, we come together to dine in a northern home, savoring authentic northern cuisine. The following day, our adventure takes us to the small village of Moskosel. Here, we delve into the intricate world of Tentipi tent craftsmanship, even having the opportunity to create our very own tote bags.

With our overalls donned, we set off on a two-day snowmobile expedition into the wild, immersing ourselves in the magical fifth season of the Arctic — the springwinter. Amidst a meter of snow, bright and often sunny days, and crisp sub-zero nights, this journey offers you a chance to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights.

Embrace the Wild

In the heart of the forest, we build our camp together, cook over open fires, sleep in heated tents, and keep watch for the enchanting Northern Lights. We even catch our own lunch on a frozen lake, experience dog sledding, and visit traditional forest homes. But above all, we embrace what Northern life is truly about—being at one with nature.

What’s included

Lodging, breakfast, lunch and dinner, snowmobiles, overalls and boots, guides attending the event all hours of the day. Please note that travel to and from the event is not included.

Monday March 11^th

Pick up at Arvidsjaur airport or bus station in the evening. Late evening welcome dinner at Abborrträsk Natursafari, sleep in heated cabin.

Tuesday March 12^th

Bus to Tentipi factory in the village of Moskosel, learn to sew on the industrial machines and make your own tote bag. Head off into the wilderness on snowmobiles, build camp, cook food over open fire, hopefully see northern lights.

Wednesday March 13^th

Snowmobile ride to remote lake for ice fishing arctic char – catching our own lunch. Possibilities for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Outdoor dinner over open fire at base camp.

Thursday March 14^th

Break camp and snowmobiling towards civilization. Visiting traditional arctic forest homes and dog sleighing. Transfer to Abborrträsk Natursafari, time for refreshing & showers. Lunch and if there is time, possibility to visit a couple of local shops. Transfer to Airport for flight departing at 16:00.
