Open for a fantastic panorama in the wilderness. Zirkonflex is the perfect weather shelter with the ability to raise the walls to get closer to the surroundings. It is an excellent tent to use as a base for excursions, outdoor classrooms and gathering spaces for groups. It can also be used as an exhibition booth in smaller contexts and as a gazebo in the garden.

When the walls are folded down, you can sleep 16 people closely, but we recommend eight to nine sleepers to have space for packing and socializing.

The cotton/polyester material breathes and creates a pleasant climate. An inner tent is not necessary unless extra protection against mosquitoes and other insects is desired. There is a half inner tent available if you want to divide the tent to create a sleeping chamber or storage area. The Eldfell stove or Hekla 30 fire box provides cosy warmth and the opportunity to cook inside the tent.

Like our popular Zirkon 15 cp in all respects and also functions as a communal tent with optimal protection in all kinds of weather. When all walls are raised, the 50 square metre covered area offers protection against the sun or rain. With some of the walls raised, you get shelter from the wind but you still feel close to nature and you can see what is going on outside the tent. In strong winds, all walls are lowered and then the tent can withstand just about anything.

Zirkonflex 15 has triangular expansion panels which means it can be used in even more ways. Perfect when you want both wind-resistant weather protection and the possibility of opening up so you are so close to nature that you are indoors and outdoors simultaneously. With space for 50 people sitting down on the floor/ground, it’s suitable for wilderness camps and outdoor preschools. Nature guides can use Zirkonflex as a communal room and for schools interested in outdoor education, the tent serves as an excellent classroom.

All the parts needed to raise two sections are included in the purchase. If you want to be able to raise all the walls, you have to supplement with the necessary components. Zirkonflex has not been designed to withstand strong winds and snow when the walls are raised. In such weather conditions, all walls must be lowered and then the tent can withstand just about anything.

Strong and well-ventilating cotton/polyester fabric which gives an indoor climate far superior to that of a tent made of any kind of coated fabric. The fabric has a natural feel, and its beige-brown colour creates a warm, pleasant atmosphere in the Nordic tipi. Fades rapidly in the sun but without losing strength. Mildew prevention.
