Our Nordic tipis have only one pole, making them very easy to pitch. The five-piece pole is made from hardened aluminium alloy, making it light in weight and three times stronger than ordinary aluminium.

Our patented In-Tent Vent™ system allows you to adjust the ventilator cap, and thereby the ventilation and temperature inside the tent, without even leaving your sleeping bag.

Controlling six opening points of the ventilator cap, you can adapt the ventilation in relation to any wind direction.

Safir has three large openings for air intake at floor level, fitted with mosquito net and adjustable from the inside. Including the mosquito netted door opening and In-Tent Vent, you can adjust the ventilation in relation to any wind direction.

All our Adventure Nordic tipis can be used with a floor or inner tent.

Offering the floor and inner tent as accessories rather than having them built into the tent, allow you to combine products. Both floor and inner tent can stay mounted inside tent when packing down, no need to detach.

Safir is available in three different fabrics:

cp – canvas fabric in beige cotton/polyester.

eco – off-white canvas made from a blend of hemp, organic cotton and recycled polyester.

light – green polyamide fabric.

cp – cotton/polyester: good breathing properties ensure a pleasant indoor climate with minimum condensation.

eco - hemp/organic cotton/recycled polyester: good breathing properties ensure a pleasant indoor climate with minimum condensation.

light – polyamide: non-breathing waterproof fabric, you can add an inner tent to protect you from condensation from the tent walls.

A 50 centimetre high reinforcement at the bottom of the tent where the most wear occur. Stronger than the main fabric and with higher resistance to gravel, pointy rocks, moisture and rot.

Only available on Safirflex and Zirkonflex models.

Using expansion panels, the tent can be pitched all sides down, all sides up or a combination of both.

Improves ventilation and allows you to have a view without letting mosquitos into the tent. Works as an additional ground level air intake, for more options when adjusting the ventilation in relation to wind direction.

Two features that prevent water penetration. The flap covers the zip, and their diagonal position transport water, without getting into the zip, to the ground.

Feature that allows the easy fitting of an Eldfell stove. Can be closed using Velcro when not in use.

Large smoke opening ensures efficient ventilation on warm days and smoke clearance when using an open fire.

For extra wind resistance. Reflecting threads woven into the cords help you avoid tripping when walking around the tent in darkness with a flashlight.

Using the toggles you can close the door even if the zip has been damaged.

Reinforcements where ground straps attach to the canvas, distributing strain and increasing the durability of the tent. The angle of the attachments is calculated to give maximum strain relief.

When folding the bottom edge of the tent inwards, use toggles and O-rings for tightening. This creates a flap which a floor will overlap, resulting in a higher level of protection against insects, wind and moisture.

Strong, adjustable ground straps are used instead of cords to anchor and tension the Nordic tipi.
