Why Tentipi Event tents?

-
Swedish design and innovation since 1989.
-
Link together several Nordic tipis for next to infinite space and combine with accessories such as walls or windows for expanding the room.
-
We have shipped thousands of Event tents across the globe for more than three decades. We’re confident to say they’ve been thoroughly tested.
-
Using only the best materials we can find on the market. And when we don’t find them, we develop them together with our suppliers.
-
We lab-test our timber to measure its various characteristics and feed these figures into our structural calculations. The species of timber and the location in which it is grown, are vital to its strength.
-
Detailed calculations made by structural engineers allow us to confidently assess the safe conditions in which our Nordic tipis can be used, and helps our customers to obtain permits and approval from regulatory authorities.
-
Customers have access to detailed step-by-step installation and safety instructions, all the latest documents, tools, photos, and videos to help keep them at the forefront of all things Nordic tipi.

Stratus®

Outstanding canvas

Using the best materials we find on the market, with long life expectancy and the right properties for your needs.
Sewn in one piece

Instead of using the simpler method of lacing the cloth together, our cloths are sewn in one piece. In this way, we avoid leakage risks associated with the lacing method.
Sustainable timber and no chemicals

Due to its immense strength, the specific species of spruce we use for our poles does not require the use of unpleasant chemicals to prevent rot.
Connectable for almost infinite space

Link multiple Stratus or Stratus with Cirrus 40, depending on how much space you need. A coupling kit is available as an accessory.
Compatible walls

WallFlex™ is a modular system of canvas or clear wall panels and wooden doors that can be combined in dozens of different ways to provide weather protection, add extra space and daylight. Available as accessory.
In-Tent Vent™

The valve cap is easily adjusted from the inside with our patented system for efficient ventilation and exhausting of smoke.
Ventilator cap

For venting out hot air and for smoke clearance when having an open fire inside the tent.
Reinforcement edge

Reinforcement fabric at the bottom for increased resistance to wear. Stronger than the main fabric and with higher resistance to gravel, pointed stones, moisture and rot.
Canvas attachment points

Two attachment points on each main bar. These 18 fasteners are crucial for our strength calculations. They increase wind resistance, prevent the canvas from rotating on the stand and play an important role in wind resistance when the tent sides are folded up.
Reinforced nail fasteners

For securely strapping or anchoring the canvas.
Spikes

Supplied with a set of our specially made steel nails, for secure anchoring in most ground conditions. The nails are packed in a strong bag made from waste fabric.
Top poles

Located in the top of the Nordic tipi to imitate projecting poles without compromising the water resistance of the cap.
Expansion wedges

Extra triangular panels sewn into the Stratus 72 fabric. These allow the board of the tent pole to be lifted up. The canvas is fitted with white strings to tighten the expansion wedges.
Roof poles

Accessory bar kit to lift the board on the Stratus 72. Attaches to the main bars with specially made band screws.
Lab tested Swedish timber

We lab test our timber to measure various mechanical properties. The values are used in our strength calculations. The type of wood and where it grows are decisive for the wood's strength and toughness.
Aesthetically pleasing poles

Our de-barked poles have a beautiful natural look, avoiding any machining or artificial staining common in processed timbers. As nature intended. Every pole is unique and contributes to the character of the tent.
Entrances

Choose between one and two doors.
Secondary poles

Supplied with 18 secondary bars, thinner than the main bars. In strong wind conditions, they play a crucial role in maintaining stability.
Here you can see all the tents' outstanding features and patents that define a perfect tent cabin.
The most important features that make our tent poles more than just a tent.
For creating infinite space, panorama views, and much more.
Designed for the care of you and your guests.
