With our TipiStar frame stabiliser our Nordic tipis Stratus 72 and Cirrus 72 can be used in winds of up to 28 m/s (62 mph). For Stratus 72, this applies when all sidewalls are lowered.

TipiStar allows the structure to handle high wind loads without compromising the distinctive shape and aesthetics of the tents. The result is a stable and reliable construction designed to perform even in demanding conditions.

Our wind load ratings are based on detailed structural calculations that take the entire construction into account – including the properties of the wood, the fabric, the hardware connections, and the construction method used in our event tent tipis.
