To put up the Nordic tipi to its best, you have to tighten the ground tensioners to the correct tension. But what is it?
When the central pole is in place, you walk around the Nordic tipi and tighten the ground tensioners a little at a time. Then take a step back to see if the tent is symmetrical. If it is leaning in any direction, loosen the ground tensioners and tighten them again.
If there are difficulties in using the zip, the ground tensioners are too hard and can cause damage to the zip. Release the tensioners closest to the door. Sometimes you even have to change the place for the pegs at the door.
