When the walls are folded down, you can sleep 15 people closely, but we recommend eight to nine sleepers to have space for packing and socializing.

An inner tent is not necessary unless extra protection against mosquitoes and other insects is desired. There is a half inner tent available if you want to divide the tent to create a sleeping chamber or storage area. The Eldfell stove or Hekla 30 fire box provides cosy warmth and the opportunity to cook inside the tent.

Multipurpose SafirFlex is a highly versatile tent which is perfect when you want both a windproof shelter and the possibility of opening up the tent and having direct contact with nature. When all walls are raised, the 50 square metre covered area offers protection against the sun or rain. With some of the walls raised, you get shelter from the wind but you still feel close to nature and you can see what is going on outside the tent. In strong winds, all walls are lowered and then the tent can withstand just about anything.
