SafirFlex 15 eco

With the walls down, the tent accommodates up to 15 people sleeping close together, but we recommend eight to ten people to allow space for gear and room to relax together.

The light, unbleached and undyed canvas makes the Nordic tipi feel pleasantly airy. Many of our customers find that the Nordic tipi feels cooler on warm days than comparable tents.

The fabric combines organic cotton, recycled polyester and hemp fibres in a breathable canvas. Cook, keep warm and enjoy time together around a stove or an open fire in the centre of the tent.

SafirFlex eco offers the same premium features as SafirFlex cp, but with an innovative fabric made from hemp, organic cotton and recycled polyester. It is a tent you can rely on in the toughest of climates, in storm-force gales or blazing heat. Perfect for extreme expeditions, challenging trekking and a multitude of other outdoor activities. SafirFlex eco is designed for a long service life and can be enjoyed for generations.

An inner tent is not necessary unless you want extra protection from mosquitoes and other insects. A half inner tent is available if you want to divide the tent into a sleeping area or storage space. An Eldfell stove or the Hekla 30 fire box provides comfortable warmth and the opportunity to cook inside the tent.

Versatile SafirFlex is ideal wherever you want both reliable weather protection and the flexibility to open up the space and bring nature closer. With all the walls raised, it provides shade or rain protection over a 50 m² outdoor living area. Raising only some of the walls creates shelter from the wind while keeping the space open to nature and the surroundings. When the wind picks up, simply lower all the walls and the tent will withstand even the toughest conditions.
