The Tentipi Hammock is made from the offcuts of cotton/polyester fabric generated by our tent factories. Rather than becoming waste, the offcuts become useful again. This means that the pattern as well as the weight slightly varies from hammock to hammock. There is a buckle strap in each end to be able to mount the hammock just about anywhere. On one side there is a pocket to store your book, your phone, your water bottle etc.
In 1989 I sewed my first Nordic tipi in the basement of an old school building in Moskosel, Swedish Lapland. Though my tools and skills were modest, I wanted to make the best tents in the world.
