Our Nordic tipis have been designed to function well even without an inner tent. Nevertheless, an inner tent does provide a number of advantages, see Key features.
Easy to put up
Is put up together with the Nordic tipi or can be easily detached by using the reliable quick fastenings.
Ventilation
Closable insect net over the smoke opening; fits tight around the central pole. Three fresh air intakes are built into the inner tent (Pro and Comfort; Base has no air intakes).
Together with the mosquito-netted door, these provide good ventilation on warm sunny days when the mosquitoes are in action.
Net ceiling holders
Reduces the risk of damaging the net when using a stove or open fire.
Inner tent top connector
This device is available as an optional extra. It is used for putting up an inner tent on its own (without a Nordic tipi). It is practical in warm conditions although it is not rainproof or storm resistant.
Inner tent
Half inner tent
All the facts and figures on floors and inner tents.
All the facts and figures on half floors and half inner tents.
Embraces the elements like no other tent.
INNER TENTS
The Sami are a nomadic, indigenous people in northern Scandinavia. They are known as the people of the sun and the wind. Some Sami still work as reindeer-keepers. Traditional Sami clothes are decorated with colourful, woven bands and bands like this used as shoelaces.
Most Tentipi® Nordic tipis are designed to be used with an open fire or stove; it is this feature that makes them a home from home in all weather conditions.
But please check local regulations, read and understand the instructions provided, and make sure you are fully competent to deal with the risks involved, before striking that match.
