Our mesh inner tents give optimal insect protection and are also more airy than our ordinary inner tents. They are especially good together with a Nordic tipi of cotton/polyester where condensation is ventilated out through the tent fabric.

As well as giving extra protection against insects, our airy mosquito net inner tents also have the advantage of improving the indoor climate on hot summer days and nights.

The walls are made of mesh. It has a curved zip, openings fitted with zips to make it easy to adjust the outer tent’s air intakes and a sewn-in floor, without any zips.

It is not possible to have an open fire or use a stove in or with any Mesh inner tent.

Inner tent

  • It gives more reliable protection against insects
  • It protects against condensation which is especially important for Nordic tipis made of lightweight material
  • Condensation caused by ground dampness is eliminated because the floor covers the entire ground area of the tent
  • Heat – for instance from a stove – is distributed more evenly when retained by double tent walls

 

Half inner tent

  • Protects against condensation which is especially important for Nordic tipis made of lightweight material
  • Creates privacy inside the Nordic tipi
  • Provides a weather-protected place for wood, packing and wet shoes outside the inner tent
  • Offers more reliable protection against insects

 

Mesh inner tent

  • Available in two versions: whole or half
  • Has three air intakes (two in half model)
  • Give full protection against insects since the floor is integrated
  • Reduce condensation from damp ground
  • Can be pitched without the outer tent when only insect protection is wanted

The kit is an optional extra and is used for pitching any of our inner tents on their own, that is, without a Nordic tipi. Practical in warm conditions but not rainproof or storm-resistant. Be sure to supplement with tent pegs and a central pole if you do not already got that, eight pegs for an inner tent and six pegs for a half inner tent is needed.
