It’s not much fun socialising or trying to sleep if insects are greedily trying to suck your blood. That’s when well-designed equipment is needed to keep mosquitoes and other insects out while maintaining good ventilation inside the tent.
Our mosquito net inner tents give optimal insect protection and are also more airy than our ordinary inner tents. They have openings fitted with zips which makes it easy to adjust the outer tent’s air intakes and they are especially good together with a Nordic tipi of cotton/polyester where condensation is ventilated out through the tent fabric.
The most important function of an inner tent in a lightweight tent is to keep out condensation that forms on the tent walls. As well as giving extra protection against insects, our airy mosquito net inner tents also have the advantage of improving the indoor climate on hot summer days and nights.

The kit is an optional extra and is used for pitching any of our inner tents on their own, that is, without a Nordic tipi. Practical in warm conditions but not rainproof or storm-resistant. Be sure to supplement with tent pegs if you do not already got that, eight pegs for an inner tent and six pegs for a half inner tent is needed.

INNER TENTS
The Sami are a nomadic, indigenous people in northern Scandinavia. They are known as the people of the sun and the wind. Some Sami still work as reindeer-keepers. Traditional Sami clothes are decorated with colourful, woven bands and bands like this used as shoelaces.
Most Tentipi® Nordic tipis are designed to be used with an open fire or stove; it is this feature that makes them a home from home in all weather conditions.
